Story Behind the Brand

Classic State was established with the intention of sharing the creative lifestyle themes of Sota Clothing with retailers across the country, creating graphics that are unique to the lifestyles of their state. Giving natives and newcomers a way to show their state pride with clean and timeless designs that they are proud to wear.

At Classic State we make apparel, hats and accessories that locals will want to rep and tourists will want to bring home with them!

Meet Brian and Lauren

Brian is a Biomedical PhD turned Graphic designer and product developer. His attention to detail and experience with microscopes has come in handy with running the laser engraver and creating new techniques to decorate headwear and apparel.

Lauren has always had a passion for retail. Starting out working corporate at big retailers (JCPenney, Coldwater Creek, Gander Mountain), then working for her brother to launch sota clothing.

Husband and wife teams comes with its challenges but having two completely different skill sets has allowed us to come together to build something we are proud of.
